Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and after gaining some notoriety through their forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. The site remained active until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts. One that covers the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She has appeared on Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies or RiffTrax Live Shows, as well as occasional adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017, 2017). She started reviewing films in late 2009, gaining popularity through channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
